Started by Mark and Kellyann Yelle in 1989, Potato Barn Antiques has been voted Best Rural Antiques Shop by New Hampshire Magazine. Located on Route 3, one mile north of the Lancaster/Northumberland town line, the Potato Barn is an easy stop on any trip to northern New Hampshire. After browsing the vast collection of items take some time to chat with Mark and Kellyann, who are happy to the share the history of many of the items they carry.

Potato Barn Antiques specializes in vintage lighting with a wide selection of lamps, lamp shades and chimneys, hanging fixtures (both kerosene and electric), wall fixtures, and restoration parts, and offers lamp and lighting restoration, repair and rewiring.

Anyone who appreciates the craftsmanship of a good tool will want to visit the vintage tool room, with its usable and collectible tools, along with railroad lanterns, toys, cameras and train collectibles.

Several years ago, Kellyann decided to indulge her love of vintage ladies’ wear and added Lady’s Slipper Vintage to the mix. The store carries a large selection of lovingly cared for vintage dresses, coats and accessories like hats and purses from the 1800s to the 1970s.
