Located at the base of Mt. Washington in Pinkham Notch, Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center offers summer and winter activities and events for families, friends and groups of all ages. From cross country skiing and snowshoeing to mountain biking and paddling adventures, family-owned Great Glen Trails has become a true White Mountain classic.

In the winter months enjoy true quality time cross country skiing with family and friends on 45 kilometers of classic and skate-groomed trails at the base of Mt. Washington. You can follow groomed trails or head out on well-marked backcountry trails for the feeling of a real expedition. In keeping with the overall fitness theme of Great Glen Trails, the tubing hill remains the traditional walk up/slide down style hill that families have been enjoying for years.  Fat biking was also recently introduced and offers another way to take to the trails.

During the summer guests can enjoy biking on winding carriage roads and single track.  Rentals are available for the entire family. Trail running and walking is available as well to those who want to explore the trail network on foot.  Those looking to get stay cool on the water can choose from a relaxing flatwater or a thrilling whitewater adventure with family and friends!

Not only is Great Glen Trails the perfect place for outdoor fun, but they also offer all the latest clothing and gear at Great Glen Outfitters. The staff is made up of active outdoor enthusiasts, so they’re constantly testing and trying out everything in the store.

The Glen View Cafe is open daily for breakfast and lunch, including soups and made-to-order sandwiches, plus a great view from the dining room!
