What’s New In Astronomy

The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests will host astronomer Ben Moss for a presentation of winter stargazing at Bretzfelder Park. The free program is part of the Bretzfelder Park Family Educational Series.

Moss will use a PowerPoint presentation and Planetarium software to help audience members learn some of what is new in astronomy over the past 2 years. During this program Moss will discuss the latest discoveries by unmanned missions, Philae and New Horizons, as well as the 30 Meter ground based telescope project and the progress of the James Webb Space Telescope and what is coming up in the near future.
