Winter at Bretton Woods:

New Hampshire’s largest ski area with 464 acres of skiing and snowboarding on 62 trails and 35 glades and three terrain parks. Ten lifts, including four high-speed quads, make your ride up the mountain almost as fun as the ride down. If there’s snow falling, chances are Bretton Woods has it — or they can make it with snow-making on 92% of their trails. They also offer night skiing and riding.

Bretton Woods continues to pile up the honors, like those from SKI Magazine’s Reader’s Poll, regularly being voted the #1 ski resort in the east for snow, grooming, and service, and #1 for weather, as well as #1 in New Hampshire overall.

A new Kids’ Snowmobile Park for youngsters ages 4-13 provides kids with the thrill and excitement of trail riding. Dog sled rides are offered regularly at the Omni Mt. Washington Resort.

If you’re looking to try something new, Bretton Wood’s Canopy Tour descends over 1000 feet of elevation.  The 3-hour tour takes nature-lovers and thrill-seekers across a series of tree-top zip lines through a network of platforms high in the ancient hemlocks.

Cross country skiers and snowshoers will want to spend the day on the Bretton Woods Nordic Ski Center’s 100 km’s of groomed trails that meander through field and forest, and — with the Mount Washington range as a backdrop — boast stunning scenery!

From the unique base lodge to the spectacular mountain-top restaurant to the uncrowded and exceptionally groomed trails, Bretton Woods delivers a special mountain experience. The property is open to visitors year-round, seven days a week.
